Hello!
Karis Rogerson was born in South Carolina but grew up in Italy, most recently in the gorgeous seaside town of Trieste. She went to high school at an American boarding school in Germany, college in Kentucky, and now lives in New York City.
By day, Karis works in content marketing. She is a passionate reader of all books, but especially loves YA fiction and adult romance. Karis wrtes essays that focus on books and their authors; mental health; relationships; and so much more. You can find her as a co-host of the craft-focused author interview podcast The Write Way of Life.
Karis is also a novelist represented by Eric Smith at Neighborhood Literary. She has written nine novels (and counting) and hopes someday you’ll be able to read her queer romances. Karis has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and in the summer of 2024 she was a Lambda Literary fellow for YA.
