The One Thing He Can't Fix

He fixes all the things, except it seems

the pieces of my heart that splinter every time

he looks and doesn't see, he laughs

but not at my jokes, he exists in the same sphere

but as nothing to me than the platonic

beings we are. How can someone so smart

not realize what's right there in front of him

just kind of waiting awkwardly (angrily)

for the barest of hints, for me to not be alone

in these feelings I didn't ask for but can't ditch.
